Ministering From Our Position in Christ

As I pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord, He brings me into His secret places in the heavenly realm. This is possible because I am one with Him. “My beloved speaks and says to me: ‘Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away” (Song 2:10). In His presence I am transformed into His image. His
love saturates my heart to overflowing as my focus is more fully upon Him. The reality of my union with Christ settles into the depths of my soul.

I am my Beloved’s and He is mine. His gardens are lovely, but they are barren without Him. I must have my Beloved. It is not enough that the Lord shows me heavenly things. I must be with Him! He truly is the delight of my life. He is the dance in my steps. He is the leaping of my heart as I cling to Him.

While I live daily in the Lord’s presence, I minister to others from my position in Him. My spirit is one with Christ, filled with His unfailing love. His love pours out of me to those around me as I see others through His eyes. I experience His hope for them as my perspective has changed. His presence transforms me.

As we minister from our position in Christ, His life-giving, dynamic words are spoken through us. The prophetic ministry becomes transformative as the Spirit releases much greater power. Personal prophecies suddenly break bondages, remove shame, and release healing power. Hearts are forever changed as the Spirit flows through us. Words of life pierce through darkness and set captives free for, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Cor 3:17). In this way, prophetic words penetrate hearts. Holy Spirit’s words open eyes to perceive Christ as hope is restored, and hearts are transformed.

The gifts of healing and deliverance are suddenly functioning as we minister prophetically. This occurs because our intentional pursuit of knowing the Lord enables us to yield more fully to Him. Beholding Jesus removes our focus from ourselves. We are not wondering if we have enough faith for healing some-
one. When our hearts are enraptured with the King, we give Him liberty to work through us as He desires. Suddenly, the Spirit speaks healing power through us when we prophesy. Christ’s love and mighty power flow through us more freely as we become His messengers of fire. Lives are forever changed because we enjoy living in deep relationship with the Lord every day.
